Three new productions in the 2017/18 season

In the 2017/18 season, three new productions are being created under the direction of Roland Kluttig at the Landestheater Coburg.   Puccini's "Tosca"   starts with the premiere on September 30th. In addition to the symphony concerts in his own house, he has guest conductorships in Rostock with the North German Philharmonic, in Zurich with the Zurich Chamber Orchestra, in Stuttgart with the Württemberg State Orchestra (revival of "The Magic Flute"), with the MDR Symphony Orchestra and with the Munich Symphony Orchestra.

In November 2017 he conducted the Orchester Philharmonique du Luxembourg and in May 2018 the Orchester symphonique de Mulhouse at the Opéra National du Rhin in Strasbourg ("Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny"/"The Seven Deadly Sins").

In Coburg, “Rusalka” is on the spring schedule (April 2018) and a snappy revue is the crowning glory of the Landestheater season: Konstanze Lauterbach’s production also features Kurt Weill’s “Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny” (from April 22, 2018). June 2018) on the stage of the Big House.
