"An evening that showed Kluttig and his musicians in top form - subtly differentiated and full of fire" writes the Kronenzeitung on the opening concert of the season at the Graz Opera with works by Britten, Strauss, Smolka and Janacek. He will conduct new productions of Britten's "War Requiem", Smetana's "The Bartered Bride" and Janacek's "Katja Kabanova" in his last game and in the concert area symphonies by Schumann, Bruckner and Mahler. In October he will make his debut at the Komische Oper Berlin with Weill's Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny, staged by Barrie Kosky.
